Ceramics    Words    Performance

Born in Skopje, North Macedonia, in 1983.

Multidisciplinary artist with a focus on ceramics and writing. With a background in architecture, I studied ceramics with the artist Hector Mavridis in Thessaloniki, Greece. My ceramic work ranges from experimental pieces that explore the possibilities of domestic clays and natural materials to a functional ceramics brand, LIPA. My artistic practice also includes writing and experiments with alternative photography and video performance. My work often explores the way visual and literary disciplines can complement each other. I have authored three books and have had my work featured in literary publications across the Balkans. In my ongoing practice, I continue to explore new uses of language and sound while collaborating with other artists.
